About Farasha
What Does Farasha Play?
Mystical folk rock acoustic with Gypsy influences.  Many are songs or ballads of the realms of Magick and Mythology.  Stories of the Goddess, Persephone, the Holy Shekinah, of Yemaya, Lilith, Asherah, and love songs of Priests and Priestess.

Under the creative guidance of Randy David, Farasha bridges musical genres to unite original folk-influenced ballands with dynamic rock beats, and haunting lyrics with pulsating instrumentals. Featuring the original music and songs of Randy David, the lyrical quality of Farasha entrances and engages the listener in the power of mythmaking and previously untold stories, through the lingering beauty of Randy's operatically trained voice. Lifting, passionate and melancholy; Randy's voice is extraordinary in its instrumental quality and range. His vocals and music are woven together in a rich tapestry of instrumentals. Randy's songs are stories of the cycles of nature, life and love and our struggle to understand, to see things new ways. Stories from the standpoint of personal Archtypes cast in all points of time and ancient cultures, using acoustic and ethnic instruments.
